Hiking and Cycling Trails |

There are a number of trails used for both hiking and biking in Osoyoos, each with different levels of difficulties. The Osoyoos Canal trail travels along the old irrigation canal that was once used by area orchardists to water their orchards. Mount Kobau lookout trails offer a beautiful view of the Okanagan valley and is geared more towards those who want to really get away from the mainstream of things. For a gentle walk along the Okanagan river, there is the Kettle Valley railway bed that travels north to Oliver. |

Located south of town on 32nd Avenue are the Haynes Point Wetland Trails.Within the marshlands, there is an abundance of waterfowl and other bird life. Cottonwood Park is a good location to see Golden and Bald Eagles circle over Osoyoos Lake as they look for food to feed their young.
